The Application Process for Pacific Pine Estate, Lennox Head, includes a number of planning submissions involving the Commonwealth and the State Government. The below links allow you to view the documents that have been submitted as part of that process.

Concept Plan Application - This preliminary application seeks the Director General’s requirements for a Concept Approval that will include subdivision approval for Stage 1 of the project.  It is submitted to seek the Minister’s confirmation of the proposal as a Major Project, and to seek the Director-General’s requirements for environmental assessment for the proposed development. The submission is prepared in accordance with the provisions of Part 3A of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979.

July 2007

A Flora and Fauna Assessment was carried out in November 2003 to identify important species on site. The assessment includes an existing site vegetation map. An updated assessment is being carried out by Petrac in preparation of the new masterplan.

Petrac has submitted an application to the Commonwealth for their consideration of the Hairy Joint Grass on the site. This referral is submitted for the purpose of determining whether the proposed development is a controlled action and therefore requires assessment and approval under the provisions of the EPBC Act. The Annexure consists of large files and can be made available on request.

The cover letter and referral form for the EPBC ACT Referral – Pacific Pines Estate, Lennox Head NSW were submitted on 26th July 2007.

The referral form is available for public comment on the internet at the Australian Government – Department of Environment and Water Resources website. It is on exhibition from 31st July to 14 August 2007

The Director General’s Requirements (click here Part 1. Click here Part 2) is a list of criteria to be addressed on the site. It highlights the planning requirements and relevant government stakeholders that need to be addressed in the reports for the masterplanned community. This document was received from the Department of Planning Sydney NSW on 20th May 2007.
